- Description :Pupose of the market consultationThe purpose of the market consultation is to obtain a clearer understanding of the available innovations/developments of sustainable taxiing solutions in the market. In this market consultation we want to focus on groundmovementsof airplanes where the use of airplane engines can be reduced. This process is called "taxiing",so we aim for a sustainable taxiing solution.We want to do this by giving market participants an insight into the dynamics of the airport and the taxiing process, our goals towards our sustainability program,through a webcast, where they will have the opportunity to be informed, respond and ask questions and/or present their available solutions or new developments in a first conversation. In the final stage of the consultation, market participants may be invited for a one-to-one interview. Ultimately,the output of the market consultation will serve as input for further decisions to be taken, like; starting a new research, a tender or start a partnership etcetera.For those parties interested in participating and cooperating towards our common goal, Royal Schiphol Group is hosting two informationwebcasts on this topic.
