• Tenders are invited for NOVE Caring Humans is an Italian non-profit organization founded in 2012 by experts in international development. NOVE designs and implements socio-economic, sustainable, and generative development programs. In humanitarian emergencies, it provides immediate assistance while paving the way for recovery and normalcy.  Activities prioritize vulnerable individuals, particularly women, children, and persons with disabilities.  NOVE is an active member of ACBAR (Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief and Development), ensuring coordination among humanitarian organizations in Afghanistan.  NOVE also participates in the Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC), Protection Cluster, and Education Cluster. General Goal of the Project To provide immediate and life-saving food and shelter assistance to vulnerable female-headed households affected by the August 2025 earthquake in Eastern Afghanistan, reducing food insecurity and contributing to safety and survival. Specific Objectives  Food Security: Ensure 166 female-headed households (approx. 1,162 individuals) in Dara-e-Noor district (Nangarhar) have access to sufficient, diversified, and nutritious food.  Shelter Support: Provide housing assistance to 2 highly vulnerable households to restore homes, strengthen safety, and promote dignity.  Resilience Building: Strengthen household resilience through efficient food distribution and shelter reconstruction. Expected Results  166 female-headed households receive complete food packages tailored to local dietary needs.  1,162 individuals benefit from improved food security and nutrition.  2 female-headed households receive housing support to rebuild their homes.  Safety and housing conditions improved for 13 household members.
