- Tenders are invited for Request For AICS Rehabilitation of Hub Schools in Faryab Province The Contractor is Responsible to complete all contracted activities according to Engineering standard norm. Conducting all necessary site and laboratory tests, including tests for concrete, cement and steel. Ensuring that scaffolding and de-shuttering activities adhere to engineering codes, with specific timelines of 24 hours for columns, 7 days for beams, and 14 days for slabs. Coordinating with AICS staff for inspection and verification of all steel bars prior to any concrete casting. The contractor is liable to provide all necessary staff, equipment and materials at work site along with hiring a qualified site engineer for the purpose of smooth implementation of the project. Prioritizing the safety of workers on the site and avoiding hiring underaged workers should be considered seriously. PPE materials should be considered for all site workers. Throughout the concrete casting if mixture is required should be added, any failure due to weather condition is not accepted by AICS. Sand or fine aggregate shall be free from salt, Alkali, Calcium sulphate or Vegetation and it shall not contain more than 0.5 percent by weight clay. Aggregate: Coarse aggregate shall consist of crushed gravel with the maximum size of 20mm.
