Description: Within TenneT Offshore Nederland, a recognition scheme will be set up for the engineering work for the Land stations for the offshore projects. In an increasing need for sustainable energy, Tennet isPreparing for the new European climate goals. Tern has bundled its experiences and further developed from the German 900MW HVDC and Dutch 700MW AC programs in the new 2GW program. The result is a new approach for future connections with a capacity of 2Gigawatt (GW) by means of 525 Kilovolt (KV) HVDC connections. Per offshore grid connection up to 2 GW of electricity, generated by the offshore wind farms, will be converted from 66 kV AC to 525 kV DC and can be transported to onshore via underground offshore cable connectionsLand stations where DC is again converted to AC and then put the net into it. Wind energy for 2023 and 7 GW between 2024 and 2030. Tennet will be responsible forThe transport of this energy. The scope of this recognition scheme is the qualification of candidates that can carry out engineering work for the civil architectural part of the converter and land stations. All communication with regard to this recognition scheme will be via Negometrixexpired.
