A. Background1. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience across the world.B. Objective2. WFP Afghanistan seeks reputable and legally registered service providers for transport services in Kabul, Jalalabad, Mazar, Faizabad, Kunduz, Herat and Kandahar to establish a shortlist of capable vendors for the period of one year from 01 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.3. This request for Expression of Interest (EoI) aims to identify qualified service providers to provide transport services. WFP Afghanistan invites eligible service providers to express their interest in providing the requested services.C. Service Requirement4. Transportation of food commodities (e.g., cereals, pulses, edible oils, blended foods, etc.) packaged in bags, carton and tins as well as Non-Food Items (NFIs) to districts and villages inside Afghanistan.5. This request for EoI serves as the initial step in the first stage of the shortlisting process.6. After the deadline for submission of responses has passed, WFP will evaluate responses received and will notify eligible participants of the outcome of the evaluation.D. Eligibility Criteria7.
