Description:
1. The United Nations (UN) seeks to establish a Global Systems Contract for: 1) Supply of Interlocking Building Block System for construction2. Provision of complete solution-design and supply of interlocking building block system.The product shall be interlocking/ building blocks type or kit-of-parts type, manufactured from composite materials or material with equivalent/ comparable properties to construct buildings that are structurally safe for human occupancy.The material shall be lightweight, have effective strength to weight ratio, require minimum maintenance, and easily assembled or disassembled with minimum or no fasteners to build infrastructure that may be utilized as living accommodations with kitchens and ablution, office spaces with or without ablutions, public/community spaces, and other infrastructure for communities.The product shall be such that it can be packed and transported easily (remotest locations where standard modes of transportation are limited) and are ready for assembly on site. The product shall have low carbon emissions, minimal waste generation, and weather resistance to bear extreme heat and freezing temperatures. The components of the structure shall be pest and termite resistant and mold and mildew resistant.
