Description:
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking for potential vendors for its requirement for the Provision of Freight Forwarding Services for the Movement of UN-Owned Equipment and Supplies to UNAMA Afghanistan on "as and when required basis". The United Nations Mission inAfghanistan (UNAMA) intends to establish a contract for theProvision of Freight Forwarding Services for the Movement of UN-Owned Equipment and Supplies to UNAMA Afghanistan on "as and when required basis". The contractor shall provide reliable and suitable freight forwarding services. It is anticipatedthat the Contract period will be for three (3) years with UNAMA's sole option of the further extension for additional period of "one plus one" (1+1) years. The duration of the contract shall always be a subject for continuation in conjunction to UNAMA's mandate, the availability of funds, and thesatisfactory performance of the contractor. Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reservesthe right to change or cancel its requirement at any time.
