Description :The Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands (MODNL) has initiated the replacement and modernisation of its operational wheeled vehicles including replacement of associated logistical systems to the Hooklift trucks. The pool of load carriers consists of flatracks and containers in supportof storage, handling and distribution of several product groups, such as food, ammunition and fuel. These are also referred to as 'Physical Distribution' (PD) Systems. A market consultation will be held with regard to this need, in order to determine whether the market can meet the requirements onthe factors product, time and money. Your participation is requested for a.o. the following items: Flatrack Containers General PurposeFlatrack Fuel Bulk, with and without Pump UnitIntermediate Bulk ContainerContainer Warehouse (with HVAC and ambient)Flatrack Container BulkAmmunition and ChemicalContainers Specialized systems such as Jerrycan Filling InstallationThe indicative scope of the RFI for PD Systems consists of 18 types of equipment, ranging from Flatrack containers general purpose to specialized fuel supply solutions.
