Description: It is about purchasing medical devices, where large differences exist between the products/systems of different suppliers. The products have different application options and each have their own advantages and disadvantages. This assignment cannot be carried out byMultiple supplier because of the fact that only Novymed International B.V. offers electric powered stretchers that technically meet the actions in our academic hospital. This allows the UMCG to rely on Article 2.32, paragraph 1, under b sub 2. Aw. This article describes thatIf no competition is possible for technical reasons, an exception to the tendering obligation arises. Due to the combination of the required technical specifications (specific requirements as described), only Novymed International B.V. able to need the needs of the UMCGto provide. The argumentation for the one -to -one contracting of the electrically powered stretcher: UMCG Breed is followed a tendering procedure for contracting one or more suppliers for the delivery and maintenance of stretchers.
