- Call of external collaborators to update and promote the strategic use of Monitor
Within the framework of the South-South Cooperation Program of the ILO and as Contribution to the fulfillment of the program and budget 2024 2025, the Latin American regional initiative and the Free Caribbean of Child Labor seeks to strengthen regional monitoring and evidence -based decision making through the update and strategic use of the digital platform Monitor+. The consulting aims to collect, systematize and validate recent national information on policies, regulatory frameworks, institutionality and actions implemented for the prevention and eradication of child labor. This information will be integrated into monitor+, facilitating comparative regional analysis and monitoring commitments assumed by countries. The consulting person will provide technical support to focal points in the use of monitor+, will develop and/or update country chips organized according to the defined categories, will systematize good Practices with emphasis on supply chains, and will prepare comparative analysis products that strengthen regional cooperation and compliance with the strategic plan of the initiative. It will also contribute to the strengthening of national technical capacities through activities of Accompaniment and technical assistance.
