- Description: Foster care is a form of youth assistance that falls under the Youth Act. In this law it is guaranteed that placement in a family context is preferred if help at home is no longer possible and young people must be placed out of home for a short or longer period of time (Article 2.3.6 of the Youth Act). In case ofFoster care within the meaning of the Youth Act is responsible for the foster care provider for the cooperation between all parties around the child and the foster care provider offers professional help to the juvenile, the foster parents and possibly the parents. The present agreement relates to the following forms ofFoster care: Aid variant; Education variant; Part -time variant; Crisis variant. For the specific requirements and conditions set with regard to the implementation of the Agreement (Careful, Administrative, Financial, etc.), reference is made to the Program of Requirements in Chapter6 of the guideline.
