- Description: 6 Linacs accelerators, etc., with which in an integrated online adaptive workflow, radiotherapy within the standard time slots of 15 minutes is possible. The radiation therapy systems will be used for the clinical treatment of cancer patients of the departmentRadiotherapy oncology of VUmc and AMC and associated scientific research projects. Due to the shift of patient flows and the fact that a number of devices are already past the end of their lifespan (with risks to the continuity of business operations and highCosts) the first two systems with online adaptive workflow should already be installed in Q4 2019, and the others soon after. The new systems must have CE marking for the online adaptive workflow and be placed in existingTreatment rooms.
